Fortress Security will reimburse the actual out-of-pocket money you have paid to your insurance company towards your homeowner’s deductible once your insurance claim has been settled. This offer is valid only after the customer’s first year of service from the date of activation of service and only to the owner of the home listed on the Alarm Monitoring Agreement of Fortress Security L.L.C. as a subscriber and if, and only if, ALL of the following requirements are met to Fortress Security’s reasonable satisfaction. The following restrictions apply: 1) valid only to homeowners and does not apply to businesses, nonprofits or government agencies 2) the alarm system must be armed at the time of the burglary 3) the customer must be paid current on all services provided by Fortress Security L.L.C. at the time of the burglary and the account must be in good standing 4) Fortress Security L.L.C. must be notified of the burglary within 72 hours 5) and must be provided a police report and an insurance settlement copies within sixty (60) days of the property loss in order to validate the claim and such police report and insurance claim are not contested by the AHJ or the insurance carrier 6) does not apply to smoke detectors 7) the property loss was the result of a burglary that took place while the security system installed at subscriber’s premises was in good working order and was “on”, and while the subscriber’s doors, windows and overhead garage doors were all locked 8) and the intruder entered the home through a door, window or other area equipped with a Fortress Security detection device, and such detection device was not “bypassed” 9) and subscriber is not in any way in default under the Fortress Security L.L.C. Alarm Monitoring Agreement or the Alarm Installation Agreement 10) subscriber writes a letter and signs it stating that all such requirements have been satisfied 11) subscriber understands that Fortress Security reserves the right to reject any claim for reimbursement that does not comply with ALL the requirements.
